Hosted Service Packages
- Basic Services - $50/year - Includes one non-email account, one email list, and one very low traffic (<10MB/month) website in the Chambana.net domain.
- Full Standalone User Account - $75/year - Includes POP3 email access, shell, mysql, unix mail, sftp, user home page, 200MB storage.
- Full Services Hosting - $160/year - Includes DNS hosting for up to 2 domains, unix group for admin, mysql access, 2 full user accounts, 2 email lists, statistics, up to 30 forwarding mail aliases, 2 hours of additional technical support. Up to 1GB transfers/month. Up to 500MB of disk space.
Colocation
Requirements
- No for-profit activity of any kind. Commercial activity conducted by a non-profit organization is OK.
- You must agree to our terms of service.
- Total power consumption for the box must be under 1.5 Amps, unless prior arrangements are made.
- You are responsible for mounting your box in the cabinet. We have shelving space for small, low power, mini-itx boxes.
Colocation Suggested Donation
Our suggested donation rates are based on power, because that is our limiting factor. These rates include power, space, and bandwidth--unless you were to use an exceptional amount of one of those.
Power usage is measured as the amperage draw of the system while booting (but after the power on peak). This is assumed to be a reasonable "busy load". Chambana.net is not a pay-for-service, these suggested donations are not fixed, they just reflect our costs plus a small buffer to keep us out of debt. Members are encouraged to pay what they can and any additional will be used to subsidize others who cannot afford as much. The prices may be adjusted if we start to find ourselves in debt/surplus.
These amount covers a reasonable amount of space in the rack and an average amount of bandwidth. Boxes larger than 2U will need a special exception before being added. If a member is using enough bandwidth to cause the colo's bandwidth bill significantly increase, they will be expected to pay for the additional usage at $20/mbps/month (measured 95%ile).

Colocation Request
In order to request for a box to be colocated with Chambana.net, send an email with answers to these questions to
- What is your name and phone number?
This is only required if you want physical access to the cabinet. - What is your desired move in date?
- What is the power consumption of your machine?
Please see notes below regarding power. If you are able to figure out the actual Amp or Watt usage that is best. Otherwise, list the CPU model and speed, and the major components so that we can estimate what the power needs will be. - What is your estimated bandwidth usage?
- What is the machine's brand and model?
- What is the height (in 'U') of your machine?
- Are you local to the Champaign-Urbana area?
- Please describe the services hosted by your machine or machines.
- What monthly donation are you able to pledge?
- Are you going to be doing any of the following (yes/no/maybe)? Running a games server? Running an IRC server? Serving large files (100MB or more)?
- What kind of services do you plan to offer with this server?
